10 Artists You Must Start Listening To (if you haven’t already)

  2. Bellybelly Belly, who works closely with the Weeknd on the XO label has released his share of albums but is yet to make it onto the mainstream scene. Belly is featured on the Weeknd’s hit track “Might Not”, which the two recorded around the same time he joined the label.                                                                                                                       Favorite Song: Frozen Water (Ft. Future)

  4. SHAQISDOPE shaqis-dopeIn a city where music has taken over everything, Shaqisdope is truly a one-of-a-kind artist to come out of Toronto. Although remaining relatively low-key it wont be long before he is known as one of the rare new age lyricists of a rap game full of trap stars.  Favorite Song: The Weapon
  5. THEY banner-theyA R&B duo still unknown by most of the world is working on its debut album titled Nu Religion which will be produced by Warner Brother Records. RUSS russ-press-photo-2016-billboard-1548Russ is likely the most well-known artist on the list after his release of hit single “What They Want” which hit the Billboard Charts for a number of weeks in 2016, but it is important to note this man is not a “One Hit Wonder”. He continues to drop banger after banger and is blowing up on a world stage. Russ is currently selling out show after show overseas but it won’t be too long before he is doing the same thing in the states.                                                                                                                         Favorite Song: Losing Control 
  7. DAVE EAST daveyDave East is a rising star who has made a name for himself in New York City long before his brand started expanding. East, a former Div. 1 basketball player, has channeled his aggression from his playing days into hardcore street bars that have the streets jumping.                                                                                                               Favorite Song: KD 
  8. DON Q don-q-useMost well known for his friendship with A Boogie, Don Q’s unique style and unapoligetic obscene and vulgar truths are unmatched by any other artist in today’s rap game. It’s almost like Tyler the Creator has a “not so little” brother.           Favorite Song: Bag On Me 
  9. G HERBO g-herbo-use    The recent release of “Strictly For My Fans” has propelled G herbo into the spotlight he has always deserved. You can’t say much about the kids music, it’s something you have to listen to for yourself.                                                                                              Favorite Song: Pull Up
